Design Mobel Rimu Queen Bed Base / Futon Low

A solid rimu Queen bed base from Design Mobel's discontinued Futon low-profile range. NZ-made, beautifully crafted, and no longer in production. 

Four turned pumpkin feet, solid rimu frame, and a flexible slat system designed to work with both latex and standard mattresses. These frames are no longer manufactured, and they rarely come up secondhand.

CONDITION / Good vintage condition.

Some minor surface imperfections in the timber, natural character marks consistent with age and use, as you’d expect from solid native wood. Please note some creaking is present, common in older timber frames and typically resolved by tightening bolts or adding felt pads between slats. Sold as is.

LOCATION / PICK UP / North Shore / Now in storage, viewing possible but it’s dissembled.
