A hand-built ceramic studio dish signed and dated Phillip Luxton, 1991. An expressive piece with painterly red and charcoal glazes and an organic square form with softly raised edges. A considered example of New Zealand studio ceramics from the early 1990s, suited to use as a small serving dish, catchall, or display object.
