Ironbark Jarrah Stump Side Tables | Pair

A pair of solid ironbark jarrah stumps, reclaimed from Western Australia. Slow growing and dense, likely brought to New Zealand as power poles or wharf piles in the early 1900s. Reclaimed in 1980 and kept in a private collection ever since, always stored dry. Tops are polished and burnished, with the outer patina left to show the age and years spent outdoors.

MEASUREMENTS 520mm High x 260mm Dia approx (slight variation as a natural material)

MATERIALS & COLOUR Ironbark jarrah timber, Western Australia. Felt base | Dark Brown

CONDITION Solid and heavy, with visible water rivulets and natural aging marks from years outside prior to reclamation. Tops polished and burnished, patina retained on the sides.

LOCATION Pickup from Pukekohe or Ponsonby, Auckland, whichever suits.
