Vintage Mid-Century Daybed

A seriously good piece. Works really well built up with cushions, would be great in a spare room or works well as a sofa if you are after this look. 

Built in Germany in the 1960s by a skilled craftsman and acquired by us directly from his grandson. Clean, rectilinear form in a rich rosewood-toned veneer, low to the ground. The minimalist silhouette echoes the furniture language of Donald Judd.

MEASUREMENTS W 2000mm, D 1000mm. Fits a 100 × 200cm mattress.

MATERIALS & COLOUR Rosewood-toned veneer, likely rosewood or walnut. Rich warm brown.

CONDITION Good vintage condition. Some scratching and fading consistent with age. Veneer generally in good condition. Fitted with an original Flexomat slatted flexi base (TÜV GS certified) which lifts on one side for easy access. The base handle is broken but the mechanism functions well. Frame breaks down and reassembles. Mattress not included fits a long single)
