Vintage rattan pod chairs, sculptural hourglass form in the style of the Eero Aarnio-era wicker lounge chairs of the period. Made in Hong Kong and recently resealed with shellac. Genuinely comfortable. Would last ok out of the weather covered outside.

MEASUREMENTS | H 720mm, W 650mm, D 650mm, seat height 420mm (each).

MATERIALS & COLOUR | Woven rattan, resealed with shellac. Natural honey tone.

CONDITION | Good vintage condition, structurally sound throughout. Recently resealed with shellac. Some imperfections along the bottom edge, and blackening to the nails and at some points consistent with age. Please view photos closely. Each chair varies slightly.

LOCATION | Mangawhai pickup, or Auckland delivery available & pick up / meet up Ellerslie. Please reach out for quotes around the rest of Aotearoa.

A super smooth transition
