Rattan Pod Chairs / Pair

A striking pair of vintage rattan pod chairs, sculptural hourglass form in the style of the Eero Aarnio-era wicker lounge chairs of the period. Made in Hong Kong, hand-woven, and recently resealed with shellac. Genuinely comfortable and a serious statement piece, solo or paired.

MEASUREMENTS | H 720mm, W 650mm, D 650mm, seat height 420mm (each).

MATERIALS & COLOUR | Woven rattan, resealed with shellac. Natural honey tone.

CONDITION | Good vintage condition, structurally sound throughout. Recently resealed with shellac. Some imperfections along the bottom edge, and blackening to the nails and at some points consistent with age. Please view photos closely.

LOCATION | Mangawhai pickup, or Auckland meet up available this Tuesday 30th June.
